Athena’s American & Filipino Café

We ate here the first week she opened, great food and service!

Athena’s American & Filipino Café has been open for a few weeks at 403 Broadway St. in Myrtle Beach, which is half of the space formerly occupied from 2010-2012 by Little Brazil Restaurant. Athena Smallridge is a native of Davao City on the Filipino island of Mindanao.

Her menu offers appetizers ($3-$14), salads ($3-$7), sandwiches ($5-$7), entrees ($8-$12), side dishes (50 cents-$3) and children’s meals ($5). Most of the menu is American with wings, sandwiches and a few entrees, but a couple of Filipino dishes include pork and vegetable eggrolls called Lumpia; and a rice noodle/beef dish called Palabok. Athena’s American & Filipino Café is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and food delivery is offered throughout Myrtle Beach. The number is 712-2630.  source ‘ http://www.weeklysurge.com/2013/04/08/3425849/an-open-and-shut-case-for-april.html#storylink=misearch
