Welcome to my About Me page! My name is Wesley Tyler, and I firmly believe in the transformative power of knowledge. By day, I am an IT ElderGeek; by night, a dedicated seeker of truth, pursuing knowledge and visions with cogency, principle, axiom, and comity. My insatiable curiosity fuels my passion for uncovering the universe’s mysteries.

Born and raised in South Carolina, I’ve cultivated a deep love for food. I consider myself a foodie and an accomplished cook, with expertise in Southern Low Country and Delta cuisine. When I’m not experimenting in the kitchen, I take on the role of a rogue spiritual advisor and collector of forgotten and forbidden knowledge. I have a passion for unique spiritual, magical, and unusual items and locations, viewing myself as a keeper of secrets and an emissary of truth. Join me on a journey of happiness, spirituality, pleasure, and discovery.

In addition to my culinary and spiritual endeavors, I am well-versed in nonverbal communication and the art of pleasure. With a lifetime of experience in technology and IT—including SYSOP, Network Administration, CIPA, Cybersecurity, and Fintech—I am deeply interested in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless networks, radio, quantum computing, and wealth-building strategies. I’m always eager to expand my understanding in these areas.

Having triumphed over cancer in my 20s and undergoing a nine-hour heart surgery (a near-death experience) in my 40s, I am a firm believer in embracing life to its fullest. I find solace and joy in nature’s wonders, whether it’s witnessing a breathtaking sunset, feeling the mist of a cascading waterfall, or savoring the musky aroma of a marsh. True friendships are invaluable to me, and I treasure the peace of mind, happiness, and respect I’ve gained through life’s journey. I cherish both solitude and the vibrancy of crowds, and I find immense joy in laughter, music, and quality time with friends.
