Gold, Silver Legal Tender; 23 States Involved in Similar Legislation to Establish US Dollar Alternatives

I was telling someone i know who owns a record store, that gold and silver were suitable investments for the long term, no no no he says and goes on sole rant based not in fact but in some bonkers idea that the US dollar was gold-backed…Umm no no it is not!

And the FDIC is not Federal Government, any more than Federal Express is! its the credit of the United States government.
