Flashback to July 2005 — wandering through the ancient stone circles of Avebury, UK. One of the most magical and mysterious places I’ve ever explored.
I had the chance to explore the ancient village of Avebury in the UK, home to one of the largest and oldest stone circles in the world. Unlike Stonehenge, you can actually walk right up to the stones, touch them, and even wander through the fields and village that weave through the site. It was surreal standing among stones that have been there for thousands of years, imagining the rituals, gatherings, and history they’ve witnessed. A truly unforgettable and peaceful place that feels like stepping back in time.
